Investigating

• Forum hopping posts - Posts weren't 'vanishing', they were hopping into the Feedback forum. Looking into it.
• Sometimes the wiki revision number gets borked after editing; the page says the edit you saved is revision 1; clicking edit again opens revision 1 rather than the one you just saved.
• Wiki editing history is messed up: history control shows incorrect version number (e.g. "1/1" even though it's not the first edit, "25/1" which makes no sense at all, and again "{0}/{1}" before the ajax request starts"), and when clicking edit the text int the edit control reverts to an old version discarding all newer edits. This doesn't always happen, only sometimes.
• Wiki sidebar always shows "(0) views" for pages that obviously have views (e.g. this one)

Reported

• No notification when saving of a reply/comment fails (timeout?)
• Threads with new posts sometimes do not get emboldened on the index - this happens when you use the C9 refresh button. Using the browser refresh bolds the titles as expected.
• Read posts notification can clear so all posts are unread.
• Xbox Live card in profile doesn't always accurately list 'last games played'. Possibly breaks on gamertags with spaces?

• Thread list for the Coffeehouse occasionally displays an older (cached?) list until you Ctrl+F5.

• when trying to create a new username, if you select a name that has already been used the little span that should be displaying the not available message displays "null" instead.

• Banned user profiles visible and still can contain outbound links that would help in SEO (http://channel9.msdn.com/Niners/beer28/)
• When using the Ajax refresh button on a forum, the read/unread state of threads does not get updated, so if a thread was previously "All posts read" and after the refresh it has new posts, it will still appear as "All posts read"; the circle icon and bold text does not update. This only happens with the ajax refresh in my experience.
• Avatars lag behind when using ajax paging. After switching to a new page, posts will show avatars from the previous page until the new avatars are loaded. This is confusing and looks unprofessional.
• If you post a new reply to a thread and this reply ends up on a new page, the paging controls will show e.g. "page 8 of 7".
• On many pages the paging controls shows the original format string "page {0} of {1}" until the ajax request starts (when the request starts it is replaced with "page 1 of ?"). This is extremely sloppy.
• Avatar captions are not visible on the forum, but they are visible on the profile page. However, there is no functionality to edit the avatar caption on the profile edit page. Recommendation: restore avatar captions to full functionality and display them on the forums again.
• (minor) Nine guy header graphic distorted, particularly around "hair"

• I am not able to Switch from old Channel 9 account to use Windows Live ID. After the stage of "If this is your account, enter your password below to switch your Channel 9 account to use your Windows Live ID
• I enter password and press the button "Switch to LiveID", I get the message "Failed Switch!"In fact the button itself feels odd as it does not feel like a clickable button and cursor is also different on button.
• Default Channel 9 RSS Feed no longer contains Coffeehouse threads.
• Frequent firefox crashes on page refreshes when ajax loading is still happening. (v2.0.14)
• Unable to change time zone in profile
• When changing my profile the timezone shown is GMT Moldava, and not GMT London as it actually is.
• When posting a reply, it doesn't show up at all, unless I hit the refresh button next to the paging buttons.
• Post date/time is not updated when a post is edited; so you could completely change the contents of a post and there is no indication that it happened. Perhaps hold an edit history log and display it inline?
• Pressing the refresh button (of IE) and being on page 2 of a thread results of being put back to page 1... also when #Page=2 is showing up in the URL.
• Sometimes newly added posts don't show up; going back to the threads overview and going back into the thread makes them appear... javascript problem?
• Edits in posts, wikis etc. sometimes don't show up for several minutes and sometimes even get lost - also my last edit to this wiki didn't get persisted, although I didn't get any exception or similar.
• When zoomed in at 125% in IE7, the "Reply/Reply to Root" radiobutton labels overlap.
• Lloyd_Humph is unable to log in http://img397.imageshack.us/img397/9996/fhi207etmpot7.jpg - says his password hasn't changed either.
• When singing-in with a live-id that has never been used on C9 before or when not entering a username to associate with the live-id you can log-in to C9 but never post anything on the Forums, never view/change your profile etc. (There's no Profile link next to the Sign out link) No profile is associated with the live-id.
• in the editor if you want to delete something (using backspace) it often will not do anything unless you type a letter first.
