An interview with John Powers, CEO of Digipede Technologies, on grid computing and application performance on the Windows platform. Digipede delivers the only grid computing solution based entirely on .NET and has helped Microsoft make important inroads into grid and high performance computing (HPC) markets. We talked with John about how Digipede simplifies the process mainstream Windows developers use to adapt single-threaded object-oriented code to run on multiple cores on a chip, multiple chips in a computer and multiple computers on a grid. Digipede is a Microsoft Gold Certified ISV Partner and winner of the 2007 ISV Innovation Partner of the Year award. Developers watching this video can get a free copy of the Digipede Network Developer Edition by visiting www.digipede.net/faster.
