Welcome to the Channel 9 Team blog.
You know it is kind of ironic (some would say sad) that the team that for over five years who has worked to communicate what is happening behind the scenes at Microsoft does not have its own blog. Sure, many of us have our own personal blogs, but there is no
official place on Channel 9 where we post regularly where we're headed.
So today, we're changing that and have created this new blog as a way to explain where we are headed in the future and to listen in on your feedback. We'll post updates when we have updated the site to fix a bug or added a new feature. You can expect content
that is a simple text and sometimes videos from members of the team.
Over the years, the continued growth of Channel 9 has exceeded our wildest expectations and we are humbled by the fact that millions of visitors come to Channel 9 each and every month.
Right now, we are in the early days of planning for the next major release of Channel 9. Our goal with the next release is to focus on the basics from site performance, reliability and content discoverability. We want to deliver on a great experience that makes
it easier for you to interact with content, your peers and connect with Microsoft.
So with that stayed tuned for news and updates on what's next for Channel 9 and thank you all for participating.

reson for the question: it looks just like any of the "posts" on the front page and they are generally not what I would call "blogs" ...
I do think having it here is ok.
just at first glance i did not see a url like blogs.channel9.... or channel9.msdn.com/teamblog/...
funny i guess in all this time I did not see that /posts/ is a list of what really are blog posts just presented as if they were message threads on a chat board... totaly works, just never studied how it was done.
We will also use this blog to share insights from the content team. Stay tuned.

We will include that type of content from the dev team into this blog as well. We are one team, so we thought having a blog that we shared would be a good idea.
Q: how many domains does MSFT have these days?
thinking of the iis. domain and the windowsforms. domain and the msdn. domain and the microsoft. domain and so on ... and live. and well I am sure thats not all of them ....
and then there are the "hosts" like www.whatever and blogs.whatever and so on....
a full DNS list must be huge, possibly a talk sometime with MS ops on how they track all them??
just a thought...
I've recently started having problems with the silverlight player on the firefox browser. I cannot playback any videos now. I have re-installed silverlight. Still nothing.
Silverlight players on other sites like TechEd and MIX online.
What could be causing this, I cannot seem to pinpoint the problem?
Many thanks.
