Here on Channel 9, we will be posting several interviews next week covering all facets of Windows 7, beginning May 5th. Stay tuned.
Microsoft says: "Today Microsoft Corp. has reached a significant milestone with the Release Candidate (RC) of the highly anticipated Windows 7 operating system, now available for download to MSDN and TechNet subscribers at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/bb403698.aspx. Broader public availability will begin May 5 on the Microsoft Download Center at http://microsoft.com/downloads. The RC milestone is a result of feedback from millions of customers and partners around the world. It indicates the operating system is entering the final phases of development and is ready for partners to develop new applications, device drivers and services, and ready for IT pros to evaluate Windows 7 and examine how it will operate in their environment."
Enjoy!

this was the best beta OS I have ever used. Please make some commercials to battle the idiotic apple ones. They prey on ignorant people with those muck racking tactics (blame the other guy means i'm innocent BS!). I have a mac with Leopard on it. It crashes, it requires software upgrades which require it to restart , it sometimes just hangs and I cant even use the task manager to kill culprit.
Amazing release, Windows team!
