Bing Goes Live Early

In case you haven’t heard, we got a surprise today when the new search engine Bing launched two days earlier than previously expected. Not only is the URL functioning at www.bing.com but any traffic sent to the old search site at www.live.com is also being redirected to Bing.

Of course, it’s too early for anyone to have completed any comprehensive tests yet, but so far the news appears to be pretty good. Heck, even Apple-co-founder the Woz (aka Steve Wozniak) said this of Bing: “That was the most astounding software demo I've every seen.” Do you agree? You can go play with Bing now and find out.
