Cover to Cover is a new destination website that will put the entire digital archives of popular magazines on the web for anyone to access for free. Developed by Bondi Digital Publishing with help from Microsoft Gold Partner Vertigo, the site uses Silverlight technology which allows for deep zooming in and out of the magazines’ pages in high-resolution – something that you can’t get from hosting traditional image files online. You can also flip through the pages just as quickly as if you were holding the physical magazine, if not faster thanks to the slider bar at the bottom of the screen.
At the moment, Cover to Cover hosts a 60-year archive of Playboy magazine and has plans to launch a 40-year archive of Rolling Stone magazine this fall.

Cool. I hope to see a great collection. I wish all the popular magazines could join on this.
