reports that the delegates at both the Republican and the Democratic National Conventions will be receiving politically-branded Zunes this year. The Democratic one is green, with the DNC 08 logo and branding on the back. The Republicans’ Zune is red and features their convention’s logo and slogan. At the DNC, 4500 delegates received one of these Zunes which came pre-loaded with some content, including one game. The hope is that the delegates can use the devices for downloading speeches and videos from the convention. The Zunes are 4 GB models and arrive with an insert that touts a message about the environment, such as the one seen
here.

Man it's good to be
king... I mean part of a democratic system of government that the world media has an obsession over.Man it's good to be

I would bet all the electronics I have (that includes a Zune and I don't live in the USA - yet) that you will be able to find and purchase a Zune there fairly easily. I don't get the logic behind buying a Mac because you think you can't get a Zune by the way...
Getting free stuff is always good, thats part of being a high ranking politician.

Interesting. But shouldn't they make the Democratic one blue, just to keep in theme with the political colors? I'm not sure if a blue Zune would look good, but it wouln't hurt if they find the right shade. Those delegates are so lucky to be getting Zunes.

I apologise for my poorly worded post, you misunderstand me however. I do own a Zune, two in fact, I just can't get them over here in the stores. They aren't widely available yet and that's a shame because accessories often won't work here without hassle, I cannot link my gamertag and zunetag and without people complaining I fear the team may get complacent about worldwide releases!

Sorry to burst your bubble but spending half a billion dollar to win an election is not democracy.
...zune rocks though.
