Anyone who’s spent anytime in I.T. knows that one of the most commonly visited web sites is http://support.microsoft.com. Then again, you don’t really need to be an I.T. professional to have had experience with this site; it offers up help and support for everything Microsoft, so there’s no doubt that you’ve stumbled across it at some point or another.
But wouldn’t it be nice if there was a faster, easier way to search the site than having to first visit the homepage and begin a query? Well, thanks to Windows 7 Search Connectors there is.
With a Microsoft Support Search Connector, you can start searching the support website right from within Windows Explorer, giving you access to one of the largest online Microsoft help databases. I’ve upload the search connector here to SkyDrive for you to download. Enjoy!

Sarah:
After I download the connector what do I do next? How do I install it? How do I use it after I install it?
Sarah:
Never mind. I read one your earlier posts and did the doubleclick to install in W7. Thanks for making this available.
