I know you’re familiar with Windows Live Writer, the killer desktop blogging application for Windows PCs. But did you know that there’s now a version of Windows Live Writer in development for Windows Mobile? This software isn’t an official Microsoft project, but rather something being worked on by by an independent developer. The mobile version will offer both English and Czech languages, an onscreen editor, and a way to publish directly from the phone. The application, now in beta form, is available for download from CodePlex here if you want to try it out.

Don't forget to note that this isn't being developed by Microsoft. It is an independent developer who is [wrongly] using the name Windows Live Writer. It's a nice project, but let's not confuse this with an actual Microsoft product

App wouldnt install on Windows 7. Bummer. This is really something I had been hoping to see the LiveWriter team actually develop. Too bad nothing in that direction. Sorely needed for Windows Mobile

This doesn't turn my head at all. WordPress Mobile has a good application right now, but only for WordPress [the most popular blog engine]… With some small tweaks-- that editor could go in 6 different directions. And Somehow I don't see how Microsoft would allow the development [for long] of an application that uses their name?! This is very fascinating.
Until next time,Larry Henry Jr.
