Introduction: The
Language Integrated Query (LINQ) is the headline feature of the Visual Studio 2008 release. Most of LINQ is based on the new C#3 and VB9 language features. In this video, I demonstrate the association between the compiler features and LINQ. In particular,
you learn about the relationship to LINQ of
Local Variable Type Inference,
Object Initiliasers,
Anonymous Types,
Extension Methods, Lambda Expressions and
Query Expressions.

If you don't like streaming the video, you can download the

Looking forward to more of these (probably on individual topics, but going a little deeper - like Extensions, anonymous types, query interfaces, etc).
Keeron: Thanks. To get more on each C# 3.0 and VB9 language feature, follow the links to my blog for each. I have other VS2008 and Fx 3.5 videos in the pipeline so stay tuned
Bydia: Not sure which RSS feed you are referring to. Sorry, but the download is not available at all (schocking I know :O). You can only stream this video for now. When I have a download link available, I will add it above.
Please follow up with a download of this work, it lends itself to reuse.

I have now updated the original post above with a link to the download. Sorry it took us so long.
I saw you not so long ago present in Reading and it was great. You were the best presenter that day (actually, it was on par with the great ScottGu at WebDD!). As a result I've subscribed to your blog. It's nice to hear things like this coming out from Reading,UK

This is a great demo. Finally made all the new features work together in a simple demo that a develop can understand.
Waiting for your next video...
