At PDC 09, I had a chance to catch up with my former colleagues at Sybase who were in the Big Room demonstrating PowerBuilder 12.  PowerBuilder, the premiere client/server development tool of the mid-90s, boasts hundreds of thousands of deployed applications over the years, and PowerBuilder developers are just as eager to take advantage of newer technologies such as WPF and WCF.  In this interview, Sue Dunnell, PowerBuilder Product Manager, Melinda Wilson, Product Marketing, and Dave Fish, Technical Evangelist for PowerBuilder, catch me up on the latest developments... including PowerBuilder 12 (currently in Beta) which leverages the Visual Studio Isolated Shell to enable PowerBuilder developers to create WPF applications in addition to Win32, Windows Forms, and Web Forms applications.

(Note: the ambient noise in the exhibit hall led to rather poor audio quality.  You may need to significantly increase the volume of your speakers.)
