In this video, Ryan sits down with Marc Hoeppner, the Managing Director of
NeoGeo and a
Regional Director out of Germany. NeoGeo builds a media asset management system to coordinate things like versioning, searching, and storage of digital media assets called
neoMediaCenter.NET.
Recently, Marc and his team integrated SQL Data Services into the product alongside the existing SQL Server backend. Marc demonstrates the seamless integration of cloud services and on-premises services provided by his product as well as talks about why he chose SQL Data Services to provide scale-free storage and query capabilities.
Marc's demo is pretty amazing - especially the CIFS implementation on top of SDS - allowing them to mount SQL Data Services as a drive in the sky.
