This is a kool video. It cleared a lot of questions I had for CLOUD COMPUTING....Thanks...
Thanks ,
U cleared to us ,
Windows Azure will bring more functionality to Web applications,
and enable businesses to more quickly deploy and update services at a lower cost.
I hope that mobile phones developers their. the presence is important
I'm a fan of Cloud Computing
Hi
Windows Azure brings more functionality to the Cloud, I hope Microsoft makes a good mix with Microsoft ADFS in Windows 2008R2 so you can federate with Microsoft Azure platform with your own forest.
Any Time, any place with every device.
I hope Azure become also available at Live@Edu for Education in the Netherlands.
Great vision of Microsoft !
Greetings, James
Clicking the Full Screen button causes the video to crash.
I'm using Internet Explorer 8.
Shane.
Hey Shane, you're right... the video stops playing when hitting full screen. I will have someone look into it. Thanks!
Thank you. The intro does give a quick overview of what Azure is but, it doesn't tell me why choose it over using a regular web hosting account like one at any web hoster for Windows IIS7 with .NET.
Why choose Azure over a web hosting account that offers Windows IIS 7 for .NET 3.5, with Silverlight 3, 2x200MB MSSQL, 25 MySQLs, 500MB disk storage, 1 Tera bandwidth per month for $7 USD. Why would I switch to Azure? For $7 per month for a new unproven web application my web host offers much and for $15 I get unlimited MSSQL @ 200mb each, unlimited storage and bandwith, redundancy and daly backups. How is Azure better?
Ryan, It was nice, but honestly I felt like a very little sleeping cuz it was a very little bit boring. Energy man! Otherwise you rocked.
This is absolutely very good. It helped me a lot in exploring windowz Azure platform..
Thank you
not much of help... the usual simplicity and ease of development talk...

@Worldlifesite: The video actually tells us why Azure is better. It´s flexible. With your web hosting account it´s not easy to scale, should the need arise. With Azure you pay for what you need, when you need it. When you have a slow time, change the configuration, use a small instance and pay accordingly. When there is a run at your site/application, just change the configuration again and, if necessary, use a humongous instance to serve all the customers you want to. You don´t have to worry about things like load balancing. The App Fabric takes care of that for you.
If this isn´t enough to get you interested, just check out some more information on Azure. I´m sure you will come over to the light side soon enough.
This is, once again, an initiative from the IT rulers such as oracle, microsoft, ibm and the rest of the gang, to make all of us, again, invest in learning, certification and migration, and moreover, to cashin from renting software as a service; please tell me, tell me clear, what does this fuzz can compete with either a well engineered asp.net or php app to run in a common, and by the way, free of charge internet browser? HTML5, scripting languages and wrappers such as jquery or JSON makes eventually any task of any scale possible. Is it not this already distributed computing? I remember the pain of learning the webfarm concepts, and way before the so called Windows lalala architecture and way before, the COM and CORBA fuzz and all of the others are just the same thing; what ever happened to SOAP? superseded, deprecated by simple JSON or XML, XPath among others. This guys try to reinvent every 2 or 3 years the very same thing to leech our pockets out! Please argument, talk to me, explain me please.
ow i am one of the computer science students i need the window definition and the components , that is why i opened the web any that is interesting,
Abeba
