Last month we held an invitation-only Silverlight Pivot Summit on campus. They were kind enough to let us record much of it for Niners. We'll air the five parts
throughout the week.
Andrew Cox and Ralph Ruiz walk you through The Silverlight PivotViewer Control and how to embed your collection into a webpage. We review events, styling, how to create taking action on items and globalization within your collection. PivotViewer is a new
visualization technology delivered as a Silverlight control. It helps visualize large collections of items in a more useful, powerful and organized way.

Great demo. Will you be releasing the design demo that was mentioned about the cars collection? Thanks
Very nice!!! Is there a link to download the presentation samples?
I'll see what I can find.
I hope you add those Pivots to Bing... Definitive worth having them when searching for cars.
Really like how the PivotViewer looks.
Any chances on Labs Pivot matching to/merging with DGML so that edges' visualization be also possible?
Could you P L E A S E provide all the samples that were used during the summit, so we can try out these ideas and provid you with more feedback. If you could also have more presence on the Pivot forum answering questions, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
..Ben
@Ben: Did you get the source code of the demo? I wanted to have a look at the ContentFrame sample...
Hi Ben,
You can find code samples for the PivotViewer control in the download at:
http://www.silverlight.net/learn/pivotviewer/
(the samples are installed under: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Silverlight\v4.0\PivotViewer\Jun10\Source)
The just-in-time collection server sample code is available from:
http://getpivot.com/developer-info/jit-tools.aspx
The most active developer discussion forum for the Pivot technologies is on: http://getsatisfaction.com/live_labs_pivot. Many of the Pivot team actively contribute to the questions and comments there. We would love to hear your feedback too.
Hope that helps,
Mark
