A new version of Robotics Developer Studio 2008 is out and includes some cool new enhancements like DSS Log Analyzer as well as a wrap up of bug fixes. Trevor Taylor, Stewart MacLeod, and Stathis Papaefstathiou came by to show us the latest version and
walk through some of the features. You can grab the new Express Edition
here, or if you have access to DreamSpark or MSDNAA, BizSpark, or MSDN you can get it through each. Also, check out the newly redigned Robotics page at
http://www.microsoft.com/robotics/.

It's June, 2009. Why not just call it Robotics Developer Studio 2009?
R2 is not a major update so changing the name to 2009 is not justified by the Microsoft naming scheme. Don't worry, we thought about the name very carefully
Trevor
I'm just curious approx how many people work in the MSFT robotics dept?
Also do you guys actually build robots, or just software to build robots?
I'm able to buld functionality similar to Decentralized Software Services (DSS), CCR is close to me, alone (in the dark).
See my project at http://plugins.codeplex.com
