One of the dentists have a different setup. You place your head in to a rest on the x-ray machine and it does a panorama of your teeth and jaw.
So does this count as my trip to the dentist?
That Laura does in fact have a clean mouth!!!
How's this for coincidence? I just watched your segment after getting home from...the dentist! Actually, I just had my twice annual cleaning. I'm serious!...and a little surprised. Anyway, I thought this show was very appropriate considering how much quicker dental appointments are. I remember having to spend well over an hour at the dentist's office when I was younger. It's been really amusing to watch the technology advance over the years, but it seems the appointments have only gotten faster these past few years. Faster and less complicated anyway. Great segment, Ladies. Take care of your choppers.
Now, lem'me see those pearly whites!...
Glad u like it!
It´s kinda like a summary of these last few weeks.
oh... and thanks for fixing the link.
Ok, so Laura was afraid of going to the dentist and she braved that fear and in front of a camera! So, what fear of Tina's could be exploited for another exciting adventure for on10? Laura, you know her best, what's Tina afraid of?
Not a bad idea.... but I´d soon run out of space!
Maybe a unique one every 2 or 3 weeks.... ??
we already know

I love the XP product placement. The coolest thing was the spotlight over the digital x-rays.
Never trust a Linux Dentist.
Thanks.
I have another idea for the contest, but if that doesn´t work out, then I´ll enter the wallpaper.
Good stuff
did you draw it using a wacom or did you just stylize the pictures?
Im normaly not one to comment on the hosts looks, but i think at the beginning of this episode you girls looked really cute!
Thanks.
A bit of both really, but I mainly "stylized" the pics with my wacom tablet.
nice set of bicuspids. lol.
good show. next fear show. stick tina on a plane without booze or pills, and then lets just see what happens. good times;)
Is it just me, or did the video quality in this segment look kind of blurry/distorted?
Anyway, I enjoyed the segment. Pretty cool stuff. The camera/computer really makes things quicker.
Yeah, I have to go back to the dentist, soon.
BTW, I still can't get my gamertag to show up! Argh.
It got blurry for me as well. About 3:25 to 4:00 it was bad. At 4:00 it cleared back up. I watched it via Download WMV.
Yup.
omg lol, that's wrong
After giving this some serious thought... A shower segment wouldn't be a bad idea. 8-D
oh snap!
Lol, oh now that's priceless.
Oh snap!
Great show btw, good job being the guinea pig...again!
I could watch these two do anything:)
i will be honest i think the nurse did not like laura much.
My dentist has one of those, too. When I was a wee lad, my gag reflex made it difficult for me to bite down on the large film squares of the traditional x-ray machines. I ended up using the panorama machine a couple of different times. The machine just had a tongue-depressor kinda thing I had to bite down on. That was much easier.
As for the video being blurry. It is on purpose to protect some private information that was on the computer screen in the video.
HIPAA makes my eyes blurry normally.
I continue have trouble with iTunes downloading videos in my iPod... someone has the same problem?
Laura with her mouth open, yet quiet.
Kidding! Luv ya, kiddo. That was a great segment, honestly. I think it's great that all of you are looking for ways to bring technology home to where it counts. Kudos to the entire team.
Tina was a liiittle too comfortable putting on those latex gloves...
This will sound strange but it works. If the film makes you gag, put one of those little packets of salt on your tongue. I had this problem with every x-ray and haven't had a bit of trouble since the hygenist tried this.
Well if they had that technology a few years back maybe I would not have had to go through all the pain that I went through while getting one of my tooth crowned. I am glad that hopefully the next trip to the dentist wont be that painful
Thanks for the suggestion, Erik. I'll look into it. It's really not a big deal, but I can't figure out why it's working for some people on here and for others, it's not.
Anyway, I'd like to invite anyone here, who has XBL, to join my friends list and maybe, kick my arse online, sometime. That is...if you think you can=)
Thanks for explaining the blurriness of the video.
