I couldn't NOT go to the launch event for Halo 3 right here in Bellevue, Washington at our nearby Best Buy. Honestly, I was overwhelmed. There were hundreds of screaming Halo fans, free stuff, food, music, and PLENTY of Gamer Fuel. On top of all that excitement I got to talk to legendary football quarterback Warren Moon, Bungie community leader Brian Jarrard, Microsoft's global marketing Maestro Jeff Bell - and the man himself Bill Gates even came out to run the register on the first copy Halo 3 sold there. Plus, I got to mess with fanboys! Good Times!

Awesome coverage, Laura!
I knew you would be covering the Halo 3 launch. I loved your coverage of the PS3 launch at Target as well. I was a bit disappointed that you or Tina neglected to cover the Wii launch though.
There were some seriously awesome Halo 3 events at major retailers across the country. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend. I had too much work to get done; otherwise I would have been in New York for the launch. I watched the televised coverage and it was decent.
Thanks for another great launch segment. I am a little surprised, however, that Tina has nothing to say. She's an über Halo fan, so I can't understand why she hasn’t posted a quick comment about it. I know she has other responsibilities at the moment, but it's been well over a month now. Pretty lame.
