Education is a key element in the growth and survival of any culture. I interviewed Olufemi Ayoyusuf who is working to integrate programs into Nigerian classrooms which will help to create standards and provide a better education for their children. Watch todays video and see how one computer in a school can mean a world of difference.

This was an awesome topic to cover on the show, great stuff! We all know how prevalent computers and technology are in American classrooms but what about the rest of the world. It was fascinating to hear what Mr. Ayoysuf had to say it's great to see atleast Nigeria and hopefully all African nations taking such great strides to improve education and development for their future generations.

Great! I'd like to see more episodes like that. Very cool reporting.

Olufemi clearly shows how we need to ensure Africa's future is better than what we have today. Building tommorow's leader while giving no room for corrupt leaders to steal the money being channelled into Education. The E school Admin looks like the tool to see the exact status of education and track progesses being made with each investment in the sector. it can also be used outside africa by donor agencies to see the impacts of their donations.

Education as Olufemi Ayoyusuf stated is the tool for eradicating poverty in Nigeria.
The task of providing computers to each school is not an easy one given the dearth of infrasturctural facilities in the rural areas. However, its the key to delivering better education, creating a better monitoring system, and speeding up the development process of the African child.
All said its a great program for the Nigerian child.

I think this is a very laudable project which if fully implemented will impact the lives of millions of young people in Nigeria, Africa and beyond. It is important to realize that we are what we are today because someone believed in us and invested in us to help develop our potentials fully. Goodness knows the number of potential "Einsteins" whose inventive contributions to world advancement never saw the light of day simply because they didn't get the oppotunity for good education. Femi, congratulations to yourself and Team, we are proud of you and more grease to your elbows! Laura and the Microsoft Team, thank you for the interview and for helping to raise awareness of this great project.

It is great to see Africans developing solutions for Africa and looking for ways of developing thier Educational standard and countries versus waiting for aids et al.
This is a laudible project, would however foresee the need for established companies to provide technical support to assist in seeing this project through. Its laudible, but huge at the same time.
Wishing to see this project achieve its Aims.

If implemented, this will serve as an invaluable tool in ensuring that the Nigerian child is empowered for tomorrow.
The poor state of Nigeria's education will soon be a thing of the past as corrupt leaders will no longer syphoon money into their pockets while claiming it's being used for developing the educational sector.
Olufemi, well done! Thanks for taking the initiave for a brighter Nigeria.
