How do I download the videos?
- To download, right click the file type you would like and pick “Save target as…” or “Save link as…”
Why should I download videos from Channel9?
- It's an easy way to save the videos you like locally.
- You can save the videos in order to watch them offline.
- If all you want is to hear the audio, you can download the MP3!
Which version should I choose?
- If you want to view the video on your PC, Xbox or Media Center, download the High Quality WMV file (this is the highest quality version we have available).
- If you'd like a lower bitrate version, to reduce the download time or cost, then choose the Medium Quality WMV file.
- If you have a Zune, WP7, iPhone, iPad, or iPod device, choose the low or medium MP4 file.
- If you just want to hear the audio of the video, choose the MP3 file.
Right click “Save as…”
- MP4 (iPod, Zune HD)
- Mid Quality WMV (Lo-band, Mobile)

I've noticed all the major techno and rock gadgets are coming from underground German artists. My computer animation class is even using some of it as a basis in our presentations. Some amazing "instruments" that are even scultures too! Great stuff. I love the kenetics. Very enriching, Laura.

that's cool, it's like a robotic guitar player. I think it's awesome that people can get outside the box (computer) with stuff like this, you know, go beyond the software and create hardware that works in conjunction with it.

not at all...I'm just stupid. I knew kenetics looked wrong, but I really didn't care. Bear in mind you're corecting the guy who mispelled "fourth."

Very cool indeed!
Creatiivity is a great thing, and kudos to those like Trimpin that are able to execute it at this level.

"Very cool and something I've never seen before."

Same here. I´m still awed by those guitars. On a side note, you guys (10) should post here more often. It´s always interesting to get your opinions on the content also.

That's some cool Mensa level ish. Cool segment. Reminds me of Kraftwerks sound back in the day as well. I have that same midi controller he uses but I'm not using it on that level.
"He's got 4 turntables and a microphone!"

I think I remember seeing someone make something like this in 3DStudio Max (an animation system that plays 3D instruments/MIDIs in realtime).
I'm still a little confused about the bowling balls rolling on those tracks...what was that all about?

Any chance of a visit/segment inside the EMP? I think it would be a cool tour to give people a taste of what the EMP is all about.

Ok, I've watched this twice now, and I'm completely blown away but I still don't know what the hell I'm looking at. This is insane. Coming from a guitarist I must say those EMP guitars are really, REALLY cool. I'm still trying to comprehend how the hell those work but it really doesn't matter, it just sounds and is awesome. Simply amazing, this is definitely one of my personal favorites from here at 10!
