How do I download the videos?
- To download, right click the file type you would like and pick “Save target as…” or “Save link as…”
Why should I download videos from Channel9?
- It's an easy way to save the videos you like locally.
- You can save the videos in order to watch them offline.
- If all you want is to hear the audio, you can download the MP3!
Which version should I choose?
- If you want to view the video on your PC, Xbox or Media Center, download the High Quality WMV file (this is the highest quality version we have available).
- If you'd like a lower bitrate version, to reduce the download time or cost, then choose the Medium Quality WMV file.

- If you just want to hear the audio of the video, choose the MP3 file.
Right click “Save as…”

Great news guys, and congratulations on reaching this confidence point and the announcement of September 16th.
Brandon, are you in a position to comment on the availability of developer phones for any of us currently in limbo?
Thanks,
Ian.

This is great! I've been waiting on this released to get started. One question... like you'll really tell us, though... are you saying there are more control goodness coming in final bits in addition to the 3 ( pano, pivot and map )?
Is there any other extra features or will we just have to wait to see?
Thanks again.
WoOT! Big Thanks to WP7Dev Team! Looking forward to enjoying the fruits of your hard efforts. (1st in line for Sept 16 download
Thanks,
Ian, based on the Silverlight things you posted you don't need a developer phone.
Nice Tattoo!
There are quite a few devices which have made their way to developer's hands, but the demand has way outstripped supply. Based on your URL, I am guessing you are in the UK. If you want to send me a note to my work email (brwatson [at] microsoft) I will make sure I get it to one of our field champs in the UK.
i like that the director for windows phone 7 has books on php and jini.
Does this mean XNA 4.0 will also be final september 16th ? With Xbox , Phone and Windows support final ?
Very much looking forward to this!
Any word on VB.Net support?
Yes, this is the final release of the development tools, and all of the frameworks, tools, controls will be final as well. We will obviously rev and update, but these are the v1 final tools.
Sorry, no word on VB.NET support at this time.
HA! You should see what nuttiness is on my bookshelf.
Did I hear correctly that there will be free tools available?
Herbie
Great news that the Panorama and Pivot controls will be available with the final release - the community has done well with the phone.codeplex.com versions to keep developers happy in the meantime.
I'm also hoping more developer devices will become available in the UK, although there are labs being organised in London giving developers a chance to deploy their apps, although if you're doing desktop PC development then this is not really an option.
Hopefully the momentum for Windows Phone 7 will step up as it is clearly getting close to launch, I'm guessing that as final dev tools are being made available this also means a final version of the Emulator and OS too.
Maybe this is a part of it ..
