How do I download the videos?
- To download, right click the file type you would like and pick “Save target as…” or “Save link as…”
Why should I download videos from Channel9?
- It's an easy way to save the videos you like locally.
- You can save the videos in order to watch them offline.
- If all you want is to hear the audio, you can download the MP3!
Which version should I choose?
- If you want to view the video on your PC, Xbox or Media Center, download the High Quality WMV file (this is the highest quality version we have available).
- If you'd like a lower bitrate version, to reduce the download time or cost, then choose the Medium Quality WMV file.
- If you have a Zune, WP7, iPhone, iPad, or iPod device, choose the low or medium MP4 file.
- If you just want to hear the audio of the video, choose the MP3 file.
Right click “Save as…”
- High Quality WMV (PC, Xbox, MCE)
- MP3 (Audio only)
- MP4 (iPod, Zune HD)
- Mid Quality WMV (Lo-band, Mobile)
- WMV (WMV Video)
Blogs are buzzing with the news of the upcoming Zunes we'll soon have our hands on. But some questions still remain and the information just wasn't easily found on any sites. So, Channel 10 decided to head straight to the source. In this clip I have a sit down chat with Cesar Menendez from the Zune team and ask him all those questions that my friends and family wanted answered.

Fun interview. You had to ask didn't you, if it had a clock. lol I love the Zune 80 and think its a winner out of the gate. The Zune 4/8 skimpt on the screen size and I think thats going to hurt the devices potential. Overall great work...though its unfortunate they had to spend resources to redevelop the software from scratch. The main thing I'm looking to hear from Zune is that they intend to go to a regularly scheduled spring/fall update like XBox.

Finally, an interview with a real person about Zune. Was really tired of all the Matt Jubelirer interviews. I hope the Zune software is better. I've been running it on Vista for a while and it is vastly inferior to Windows Media Player, though it is faster. Nice to have one smaller and cheaper. Much better risk when you're working out and might break it.

1. They have a "redesigned" software..is it 100% different from WMP or still based on it?
2. Does the Zune play WMA lossless or no? If not, why?
3. No battery life specs or info.

I like how the Zunepad is a mix between a d-pad that you see on many devices so everyone knows how to use it and the more advanced touchpad like on laptops and the older Creative Zen players.
One thing I haven't found out yet is if it shows up as a plain old removable mass storage device that you can just drag and drop files to including .mp3s. I like how the old Zen Micro lets you drag a folder full of mp3 onto it just like a flash drive if you don't want to use their included software.

HATE the zune software/sync/music manager.
i already have a system to manage my music, why should i be forced to conform to this crappy zune software?? and it's a total resource hog on my system.
i really want to just drag and drop my media on the device without building playlists, without conversions, without DRM issues, without forced syncing etc etc
