How do I download the videos?
- To download, right click the file type you would like and pick “Save target as…” or “Save link as…”
Why should I download videos from Channel9?
- It's an easy way to save the videos you like locally.
- You can save the videos in order to watch them offline.
- If all you want is to hear the audio, you can download the MP3!
Which version should I choose?
- If you want to view the video on your PC, Xbox or Media Center, download the High Quality WMV file (this is the highest quality version we have available).
- If you'd like a lower bitrate version, to reduce the download time or cost, then choose the Medium Quality WMV file.
- If you have a Zune, WP7, iPhone, iPad, or iPod device, choose the low or medium MP4 file.
- If you just want to hear the audio of the video, choose the MP3 file.
Right click “Save as…”
- WMV (WMV Video)
- MP3 (Audio only)
- MP4 (iPod, Zune HD)
- Mid Quality WMV (Lo-band, Mobile)

Shame, that without canvas, IE 9 will still be wayyyy behind the competition.
Big 'E' stamp for effort tho.
Canvas is an element in the HTML5 specification - The fact, that the canvas element is not yet in the pre-build (alpha) version of IE9, does not say, that it won't be in the final release of IE9 which is intended to support HTML5. (listening carefully to the speaker can avoid misunderstandings) -
The final release of IE9 will be wayyyy ahead of the competitors ...
After a crash, when you restart IE8, it does recover all the tabs with URLs.
tough crowd!
that was an interesting demo of what is possible with HTML5 and gives a good insight to the process of meeting standards
the preview of ie9 does look very promising indeed, but i hope a refresh of the preview comes out soon
supporting the canvas element will be absolutly crucial if ie9 is to be taken seriously as a html5 browser though.. personally i prefer silverlight, but hey..
No canvas = No IE
I have some issues with IE 9 beta. Very often the dialog for connection establish is appears when I visiting some web-sites. And it will be helpful to be able to specify location for every downloading file, but for default to save files to default folder.
