Ever wondered what CeBIT means? Well, CeBIT stands for “Centrum der Büro- und Informationstechnik” or in English “Center of Office and Information Technology.”
This year the CeBIT was smaller than in past years, but on the day that I was there, there were tons of people waiting to try out Microsoft Surface. Every time I walked by, the tables were full of people trying out the multi-touch devices. If you weren’t able to make it to CeBIT, here is another video to show you some of the possibilities of Surface.
Vincent Encontre from IntuiLab demonstrates a scenario for an innovative banking application for Microsoft Surface that will provide customers with an entirely new, collaborative banking experience. IntuiLab is developing solutions for Surface for a wide variety of industries including public sector, retail, banking and media.
