Search is much more than just finding something; concepts such as Information Architecture, Information Organization, and Findability are very important when implementing SharePoint. Come to this session to see how SharePoint 2010’s enhanced Search capability (such as the Managed Metadata Service) can address these concepts and help make your Search implementation much more effective.
This session is presented by Richard Taylor during SharePoint Connections 2010 in Amsterdam.
Rick is a SharePoint architect and has assisted numerous, large companies in their implementations including the US Air Force, Charles Schwab, and Nestle. He is a published author, co-author, and contributing author including the
Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 Administrator’s Companion by MS Press. His influence within the MCT and SharePoint communities facilitated his being selected to present at the first MCT Community Summit held in Zurich, Switzerland and
prompted Microsoft Learning to make changes to the Beta courseware that it might be ready for prime time.
Rick currently resides in the Phoenix, AZ area where he is an avid triathlete (Clydesdale class), and active in the Boy Scouts of America
