Mark your calendars, everyone: July 27, 2009. That’s when the Windows Marketplace for Mobile will begin accepting applications created by… well, YOU!

In case you haven’t heard, the Windows Marketplace for Mobile will come with every Windows Mobile 6.5 phone. So if you’re a Windows Mobile developer, you can more easily get your apps to all those customers. And before the year is done, all users with Windows Mobile 6.0 and 6.1 phones will get the Marketplace, too. That’s a lot of potential Windows phones for your apps.

In the video, Todd Brix from the Windows Mobile team covers the news and shows you a quick Marketplace demo. You can find more details over on the Windows Mobile blog.
