David "Lifekludger" Wallace is the Lifekludger and Beetroot citizen activist. You can never get enough beetroot into your life.

Mike Seyfang and I visited Dave at his home in Adelaide to see how he communicates and connects with the outside world. Blogging, podcasting and most recently in Second Life, Dave is an inspiration to all of us who look at information literacy.

Inventor of the perspex mouthstick and P-76 piston head perspex mouthstick holder; Dave has a passion to take the real-world kludges that are made for impared people and have them produced by skilled crafters.

As an engineer, Dave sees the solutions and communicates to the builders via pictures and Second Life simulations.

Watch and find out Dave's other geek stories. And why beetroot is important.
