Download
How do I download the videos?
- To download, right click the file type you would like and pick “Save target as…” or “Save link as…”
Why should I download videos from Channel9?
- It's an easy way to save the videos you like locally.
- You can save the videos in order to watch them offline.
- If all you want is to hear the audio, you can download the MP3!
Which version should I choose?
- If you want to view the video on your PC, Xbox or Media Center, download the High Quality WMV file (this is the highest quality version we have available).
- If you'd like a lower bitrate version, to reduce the download time or cost, then choose the Medium Quality WMV file.
- If you have a Zune, WP7, iPhone, iPad, or iPod device, choose the low or medium MP4 file.
- If you just want to hear the audio of the video, choose the MP3 file.
Right click “Save as…”
- WMV (WMV Video)

This is on IE6 with Silverlight 1.
Edit: I get this HTML: <a id="ctl00_MainPlaceHolder_Starter_MediaPlayer_MediaLink"><img id="ctl00_MainPlaceHolder_Starter_MediaPlayer_MediaPreview" src="http://mschnlnine.vo.llnwd.net/d1/Dev/App_Themes/C9/images/player/screencast.png" alt="Screencast" /></a>
Note no onclick or href or whatever you guys do to open the new window.

All, could you let us know what browser (and version) you're using? Bas, the dev team already know yours (thanks for sharing).

Can we do this today? So far, I only have access to .Net API projects in Azure and nothing else. What else do I need to do to get access to do this in the video? tia
Yes, you can do everything I did today. Everyone can use the SDK to build and run an application locally, but to deploy to the cloud, you'll have to be provisioned.
Go to http://www.microsoft.com/azure/register.mspx to both download the SDK (you'll need the "Windows Azure SDK" and "Windows Azure Tools for Visual Studio") and to sign up to get cloud access (but note that you'll be on a waitlist).
Try this link: http://www.microsoft.com/azure/videos.mspx
Hosted Services
Click on any thread and I get: Sorry, we were unable to service your request. Please try again later. MSDN error page.
2) I got a Sql Services invitation code other day in email and want to add it to my Azure account, but don't know where or how to activate it. The email contained no specific instructions or links to activate.
Please help.
That link is also very funcky for me. It starts a video on page load that you can't stop and you can't click on other videos. If you close the tab, the video keeps playing. If you close the browser, the video keeps playing. I have to close all browser windows, then it stops. Not sure if this is the page, my IE7, or some other issue.
running ie8b2
azure is awsome
So when you hit the above link and then click on first post "Sticky: FAQ", you guys don't see:
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Error/Error500.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/Forums/AjaxThreadPage.aspx
Error 500. "Sorry, we were unable to service your request. Please try again later."
I get that when I click on any post in the forum. How could this just be my IE7?
It's incredibly frustrating that the Azure videos are not available for download - among other issues; it means that the videos cannot be viewed without an Internet connection!!
Even with the direct link, I get jaggy playback on my desktop (only because the server makes the file open in WMP or save a WVX playlist).
Excellent Video !!
MIcrosoft AZURE is Excellent and I am Totally Satisfied with its performance !!
I have hosted my site in Microsoft AZURE
Just Have a Look At it
