With the Game Developers Conference finally underway so are official announcements. The ACES team has been slaving away at the next two updates for "Flight Simulator X". The DirectX 10 update and Service Pack 1. But hold onto your wings, flying enthusiasts, this holiday season Microsoft Game Studios is officially releasing their first expansion pack in years: "Flight Simulator X: Adrenaline". New features will include multi-player air racing, who doesn't want to fight head-to-head at fifteen thousand feet? There will be new missions and all-new aircraft, including the P-51 Mustang. It's going to come out on both Windows XP and Windows Vista and will include both the Game Explorer and Parental Controls.

I've been waiting for Microsoft to release new expansion packs for flight Simulator for several years now. My father and I are huge flightsim fans and we thoroughly enjoyed the Hawaii expansion pack of decade go for FS95...has it really been that long?

I was expecting Microsoft to bring back expansion packs for FS2004: A century of flight, but that never happened. Abacus has been producing compilation expansion packs for Flightsim for years now, but they were never as good as the genuine Microsoft expansion packs and I've had to put a lot of work into streamlining the features to match the simulators.
This is great news and I'm sure my father and I will really enjoy the new features. Awesome. Thanks a lot for the updates, Tina.

Very cool, but I don't think I could tolerate the gap between the moniters.
I'd much rather have a large widescreen moniter. It would also be pretty wicked to hook up a yoke and rudder pedals with that setup.
