Entering the Matrix in 5...4...

Lifehacker dropped this Microsoft Live Labs released a tech preview of Photosynth.  The software analyzes photos of a simular area then reconstructs them into three-dimensional space, flyable environment. 

Photosynth is a collaboration between Microsoft and the University of Washington based on the groundbreaking research of Noah Snavely (UW), Steve Seitz (UW), and Richard Szeliski (Microsoft Research).
