Finally a good use for floppy drives

I noticed on Scott Hanselman's blog about Ashish Derhgawen building a camera panner using a floppy drive. There are two YouTube videos that show the panner in action and I have to admit, it is pretty cool. Ashish's entire blog has a ton of neat hardware entries such as motion detection and obstacle detection with lasers. Add in some Nerf weapons and you'll have something to defend your stuff!
