You know he likes playing with cool things and now he's turned his attention to the Kinect... GesturePakGesturePak is a speech-driven gesture recording WPF app and a matcher class for .NET developers that uses the Kinect For Windows device and SDK. Use speech commands to tell the GesturePak Recorder to take snapshots of each position in your gesture. Toggle X, Y, Z axis tracking as well as tracking for each joint. Test and tweak the margin of error and timing restrictions until you get it just right. Your gestures are saved as XML files. Use the GestureMatcher class to load your gestures. Tell it to start watching. GestureMatcher fires an event in your code as each gesture is recognized. No programming. "We have not announced full gesture recognition for 1.5. Yes Kinect Studio can help recording but it is not a gesture recognition system."

There's a free interactive demo version that walks you through the process of recording and testing gestures using the aid of video and audio. It lets you do everything but save.

GesturePak is $99 for a single dev license and $799 for a site license. The license allows you to redistribute the dll with your apps with no royalties or other charges.

There is a really cool demo in the product that lets you zoom a photo using your hands!

I'm having so much fun developing GesturePak. I hope you guys like it!
