There are over a billion mobile devices with rich Web capabilities, yet many Websites look terrible on such devices, or worse, fail to work at all. As mobile devices become the primary way that most people access the Web, having a site that fails to deliver a rich experience on the Web using HTML5, JavaScript and jQuery Mobile is missing out on a huge opportunity. In this session, learn how ASP.NET MVC 4 leverages these next generation technologies enabling developers to build a single solution that targets multiple platforms and form factors such as mobile, tablet and desktop devices.

Where is the video?
It takes 24 hrs to upload the video. So come back again later
What iPhone emulator is Phil using?
I used iBBDemo2. It's really just a Safari browser with iPhone/iPad chrome around it as far as I can tell. For example, you can't run real iPhone apps on it. But for showing off web pages, it worked great. :)

Whoops, forgot to login first. That last comment really was me.
Great demo Phil.
Looking forward to work in MVC 4 and HTML5.
Really enjoyed the video BTW. At the end you demoed a project that Steven Sanderson sent you. It was a single screen application that utilized MVC more as a back end server and used KnockoutJS and JQuery mobile as the front end with MVC partials. Is there a chance that you could post that project?
Good stuff. Can't wait to hear more from you about MVC 4. I'm really enjoying my MVC 3 projects!
Exciting stuff from MVC4 and mobile. I've written a blog showing how to enhance Phil's demonstration to use 51Degrees.mobi with MVC4. See the full blog at 51Degrees.mobi and MVC4. I hope this helps the conference attendees that asked Phil about 51Degrees during his presentation.
cool!
I have a full tutorial on this at http://www.asp.net/mvc/tutorials/aspnet-mvc-4-mobile-features
Thanks guys, very exciting stuff!
Great Stuff Phill!!! Thanks :)
Great session Phill. Thank you and keep up the good work. Looking forward to MVC 4 rc release and IE offline caching.
Thank you Phill, great demo, looking forward to MVC4. Duplicating views is troublesome regardless of duplication automation, is there a smarter approach?
How does it recognize a mobile device when using the .mobile. layout?
There is a demo at the where Phil showed an offline version of the app written by Steven Sanderson. Can we get the source code of it?any chance?
Thank you , it was realy very good
Great talk! From the quick hack to the full-fledged solution, you really helped me understand what my options are for an app we need to mobilize soon. Thank you!
I'm a bit late, things might've changed, but 2 Questions :-
1. This is using MVC4. What about ASP.NET forms? Not supported?
2. How do you change existing sites built on, say VS2005/2008 on Web Forms to make them mobile-friendly?
