Speaker: Derek Moir (Channel 9)

Derek Moir joined Citrix in October 2010 to lead the ANZ Citrix Systems, Microsoft Business. Derek’s focus is around revenue growth and driving joint sales and sales engagement with Citrix and Microsoft Account Teams across ANZ. Derek works with business groups at CORP to ensure visibility and best practices are adhered to across ANZ. Derek works to create and utilise networks and manage executive relationships with Microsoft. Work closely with the sales organisation heads to sell the overall Citrix strategy, and ultimately drive pipeline growth and closure through, directly engaging in both sales organisations Prior to Joining Citrix Derek held numerous positions within Microsoft Australia and covered territories across the country focused primarily on Public Sector and Financial Services. Derek worked in setting key go to Markets for the Microsoft System Center and Core infrastructure business. Derek is a regular speaker at TechED and other events such as Australian Partner Conference and Synergy. Prior to Microsoft Derek worked for ComTech this became Dimension Data, and prior to that, at the Department of Defence.
