Rob Tiffany is the worldwide technical lead for Windows Intune where he works to grow Microsoft's device management business. He brings 18 years of information technology experience and previously served as a Mobility Architect in WW Services where he delivered mobile and wireless strategy consulting to Microsoft’s largest global customers. Prior to his role in the MCS, Rob was a Senior Technical Product Manager for Windows Mobile in the Mobile and Embedded Devices (MED) division where he shipped Windows Mobile 6 and 6.1 and was in charge of growing the mobile app developer ecosystem. He was also responsible for planning and running one of Microsoft’s largest global developer conferences, MEDC. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2004, Rob was a serial entrepreneur, did a couple of tours of duty as a CTO, and founded one of the industry’s first cloud-based mobile device management companies. A seasoned public speaker, Rob presents at industry conferences all over the world including Mobile World Congress, DevConnections, Tech Ed, CTIA, VSLive, MEDC, and TechReady. He's the creator of Microsoft's Mobile Line of Business Solution Accelerator, and a published author of dozens of articles found in leading technology publications as well as five, best-selling books on mobile app development.
