Rocky Heckman

Rocky is a former Microsoft ACE team Security expert turned Technical Evangelist. Utilising this background Rocky consults with Public Sector customers and Independent Software Vendors on how they can take advantage of Cloud and other emerging technologies to facilitate Government and Industry Interactions with citizens and clients. This is all part of his larger goal to enable the Digital Society. Rocky regularly presents at Gov 2.0 targeted events out of Canberra and major industry events such as Microsoft Tech Ed. With 16 years of experience in all facets of software development he has worked with governments, law enforcement, aviation, health care, financial, and ISV audiences. Prior to his life in computers, Rocky was an aircraft mechanic, worked at Cape Canaveral, and several US government contractors.
