John Azariah

For over 20 years John Azariah has worked on high-profile projects for leading global software companies, including Oracle Corporation (NASDAQ: ORCL), where he helped develop several versions of Oracle Forms, and Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT), where he worked on Microsoft Excel, Project and SharePoint Server, and for which he was awarded a US patent._x000D_ _x000D_ John has also served as the Chief Architect of HealthUnity Corporation, where he architected and directed the development of a secure, dynamic, workflow-driven, messaging-based, peer-to-peer collaboration network for healthcare applications._x000D_ _x000D_ More recently John, as a Senior Application Architect at MYOB Australia, has been designing and leading the development of an innovative cloud-based accounting solution that’s now relied on by thousands of Australian and New Zealand businesses._x000D_ _x000D_ John is also a Director and CTO of BrightSword Technologies Pte Ltd, Singapore – an ISO 9001 organization – where he is responsible for the strategic, technical, and architectural aspects of their solutions. He also manages several open-source and shared-library projects made available by BrightSword Technologies._x000D_ _x000D_ Active in the Melbourne .NET community, John enjoys speaking on computer science, software engineering, cloud computing, and trends in technology and architecture. He recently presented 'Migrating Applications to Windows Azure' at TechEd Australia 2011 and 'Microsoft Casablanca' at TechEd Australia 2012, and 'Modern Architectural Patterns for the Cloud" at DDD Melbourne 2013._x000D_ _x000D_ John holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Chemistry from Dartmouth College, NH, USA._x000D_ _x000D_ He is married to Smitha and they live in Melbourne, Australia with their daughter Naomi.
