Mallikarjun Chadalapaka

Mallikarjun Chadalapaka is a Principal Program Manager in High-availability and Storage team in Enterprise Cloud Group of Microsoft. Mallikarjun has been working on storage technology definition, architecture and product implementation aspects for almost 20 years now. Mallikarjun has co-authored eight RFCs, including RFC 3720 which defined the original iSCSI protocol. In addition to IETF, Mallikarjun has also been a contributor to other industry forums such as SNIA, RDMA Consortium and T10, in helping define and evangelize new storage protocols and standards. Within Microsoft, Mallikarjun is responsible for multiple Windows Server features including Cluster-aware Updating, iSCSI Target Server, and Distributed File System Namespaces, and storage functionality for Windows Azure Pack vNext.
