My desktop never changes, this was from May of this year. It's still the same

Just remember, more than 3 icons on the desktop is the sign of a sick sick sick mind.

If you don't have icons then what are you guys doing all day on a computer? Wink
My setup at work. Messy and complete with Vi command cheatsheet.
At home, I have a makeshift iBook docking station. It really just plugs into a KVM switch I have setup. The KVM switches between my ubuntu Linux box, my Dreamcast, and whatever I plug into the 3rd port.

I just have the Windows 95-look enabled and no wallpaper. Boring. On my SuSE Linux 9.3 testing server I have the default SuSE GNOME interface. I'm considering trying out KDE, though!

Well I spend most of my work time inside VS or SQL. And all the code is in a nice directory structure under source control. I don't need shortcuts on the desktop, the quick launch bar, with shortcuts to VS, SQL and email is pretty much everything.
Ill Post my Linux one tomorrow.

It's not hard to get rid of it. Right click the desktop, click "Arrange Icons By", then uncheck "Enable Desktop Icons"

Argh! Why don't you people link to the screenshots rather than show them? [C] I'll make a screenshot of my desktop once I've reinstalled Windows.
