I cant remember where I heard it, but on one comedy program or another, years ago, someone said "did you know, the people of Basingstoke have no word for Hell?"

...maybe if this was in the middle of the country, perhaps, but I doubt I can afford the £90 return train fare.

From the depths of Wales I come

s a £19 journey down if i buy now.  i need to consider it a bit more but i am very intrested, how many of us will be at the scoble event though?

I'd love to go but I get back from a skiing that morning/afternoon Sad and its a 20hr+ coach journey back (dam uni club being cheap and not getting a flight), I dont think i'd manage.

Shame about the no bikinis.

You wanted to wear a bikini... I think Dave would have joined you on that!  He really wanted to get all dressed up!

Huzzah! I'll be there!
It would cost me £13.50 to get there and back; not sure if it is something I want to do though... I'm considering it...

PS - Love the dress code Smiley
Well I think myself and Beth should be there, as long as Dave promises NOT to wear a bikini.... the mere thought of which has had me reaching for the valium. :O

So any special guests for this one? Or is the double hit of Scoble and Dave's birthday the week before enough?

Over your knee? That would upset your arthritis

My name has 9 letters. Coincidence? I think not...
I would love to come, but the flight to London and back alone would be €125, plus accomodations, so I don't think it'd be worth it. Sad
