I've always wondered how Client-script intensive sites, much like this, handle when a browser has a partial implementation of the DOM.

You could probably make your own with a nifty domain name and LAMP in a couple weeks. Besides the fact that there are already 10 billion of them out there.

This site is more of the same I think.

Yeah like those stupid social networking sites that are out there...I know this one called SiteSpaces.net and that I'll tell you is one amazingly similar site to MySpace.com...and it does what about 10 billion other ones do...

FYI: Beer sometimes it's not what your doing...is that your doing it better than everyone else.
Just while we're on the subject, is Site-Spaces self-sufficient costs wise yet?

Funny story... I know this one guy who swore blind that his site was making money... He calculated the cost of hosting as 1/5th the cost of the box because he had five other sites on it... When we ran the numbers based on that 1/5th it looked like he was making a little money... But when you included all five sites, he was making a massive loss... None of them were making money and the loss was being shifted as each calculation was made... As I said it is a funny story primarily because he calculated all five sites being in the green but when combined together all five fell into the red.

Fatalism.
Looks to be in Flash, not Ajax, from the video.

MSN could use something like that for Office Live, however.

I'm guessing that the Thomas Fuchs from the demo is the same Thomas Fuchs from the aculo.us sites script.aculo.us and mir.aculo.us so I would imagine he's staying with Ajax. It looks good to me, like is says above, it's about doing something better (oh, and doing something useful...)

Sorry, having looked at mir.aculo.us you'll see that it is him. Overview of fluxiom there too.
