I hope Windows Vista RTM makes me go whoa when I first boot into it.

Unlike XP which made me go "wtf?!"

That Windows Blinds screenshot looks pretty nice, although I find it kind of disappointing that only the Start menu has the glass effect, but not the window border.

Well, that's not exactly the effect provided by Aero Glass, that's more like translucency.

Besides, the window borders are not antialiased, etc etc Smiley
I think Vista will treat transparency in a simmilar way mac os 10.2 did. Apple put it in, people were exited as it looked different. As the year to 10.3 went on it became obvious that it's nice eye candy but rather distracting to most normal users. Therefore it was dropped in 10.3 and 10.4. Transparency now finds more useful applications such as in dashboard, toolbars (iphoto touch up and most pro tools).
