Ugh. I have a hard time taking seriously a poll for Person of the Year who lists, among the options, "Mother Nature" and "The Google Guys".

Some people donate more than Bill Gates to charity, I mean not in actual cash terms but when compared to their gross income...

Time's "Person of the year" is just awful; it should be called Time's "Already Famous Person of the year" ... No local charity worker will ever get to be person of the year however hard they work or however much they donate... Instead it will be some celebrity that donated less than 1% of their yearly income to charity...
