From the Seattle PI Microsoft blog - Best Buy's president has published an open letter of apology for the, ahem, "questionable" sales tactics used by some stores in selling the Xbox 360.

There's even a Best Buy Ethics Hot Line!

Trapped in a world he never made!

Ronald Kahlow was arrested at Best Buy in 1997 for the crime of writing down prices:

Of course other folks just got arrested at Best Buy:

And one guy got arrested for paying with two dollar bills:

And some former employees just sued Best Buy last week for discrimination:

Now they're apologizing for bait-and-switch tactics and saying they're really sorry and they didn't mean and it won't happen again?

They took the biggest, most enthusiastic, most hardcore Xbox fanboys who waited in the cold for an Xbox 360 -- and abused them?

Microsoft needs to find another partner for the next big launch.

Preferably one that doesn't have a habit of f--king over its customers.

I heard yesterday that Best Buy stock dropped 17% in one day!

Whew! I smell blood in the water.
