One of the features of the Xbox 360 that doesn't get much press is the range of cheap downloadable games on Xbox Live Arcade. My theory is that these games don't get much press because their target market is "casual gamers", with a $5-10 price-point. And no self-respecting l33t hardcore game reviewer would choose to review one of those, over a $60 game title that's been PR-blitzed down his throat.

So it's great to see that the winner of the Independent Game Festival (for all those game shops who don't have massive PR budgets) will be downloadable for the Xbox 360. Fingers crossed that this is the start of a trend - it would be awesome if smaller game producers were able to earn a decent living from Xbox Live Arcade.
