I'm white because I smelt an onion.
I don't really see any change.  Start Panel looks cleaner, but that's all.

Start Menu looks cleaner and Media Player is much, much improved.

Now, what in goodness' name is that little star in the top left hand corner of IE's tabs?  Its like that Big Blue Star Button that was in the Longhorn 4xxx releases - a magic button that does not appear to have an obvious function.

I figure that it has some destrutive function and the only written manual that will come with Vista will be a sheet of paper that says "Whatever you do, do NOT press the button with the star on it".

Well, it's getting there.  Over here it's still generating more "meh" and less "ooh," but it's mostly headed in the right direction.

WMP seems to have taken a little step backwards, with too many tiny button/triangle/icon thingies, compared to a screenshot of a previous build I saw.  And there's too much "You Are Here" stuff (a glowing highlight on the Library button, a breadcrumb trail, AND a treeview with a highlighted node), all of which indicate I am in "Songs..." even though I am apparently browsing "Albums."  Perplexed

The Windows Explorer treeview seems to have lost the tiny little triangles, which is an improvement.  Either that or they appear in context (only when they need to appear)....

WMP and Windows Explorer seem to have different ideas about where things like address bars, menus, and breadcrumb trails should be placed... too bad there's no consistency there...

There is some craziness on the System Properties page - some items get a little "Windows Defender" shield and some don't...

White space on the Start Menu looks good.

Big Smile  I assume that's either a Favorites button (as in IE 6) or, if you are a Sneetch, a request to add or remove the star from your belly.
I wish MSDN got this build quicker. Will be waiting a while I suppose.
