As I said, I have the best, and surefire fix for the WMF thingie.

First, Format your harddrive then install Linux.

If you are lucky maybe you can get a refund for your anti virus, firewall, anti spyware, washer, cleaner, defragger, restorer, fixer, de-fuqer and all the stuff you need to be able to surf the web with an XP computer.

I love you too!

Any suggestions?  Other than setting your file type associations for WMF from "Windows Picture and Fax Viewer" to "Notepad?"

Actually, depending on how you use FF and what version, that might not protect you.  Its kinda complicated.

There is a third-party fix from Ilfak Guilfanov available over on SANS. I haven't used it but have setup the msi in case something really bad happens. Sad

There is also a rather amusing anecdote there portraying Bill Gates as Willy Wonka and Microsoft Security personnel as the "Ooompa Loompas".
