Already had the LE1600 for one day, and I have that "How did I live without one" feeling Smiley

Took a nice trip too. Instead of China to Vancouver, FedEx's journey took it from China to Alaska to Tenessee to Manitoba to Vancouver....interesting, especially since it only took 2 days...

One question, I remember seeing some tool in some video here where you could teach the tablet your writing style. It gave you a letter 'A' and you had to write it or something, anyone remember this? It's not in the Experience Pack or the Education Pack...unless it's in the directory and not in the start menu...

That's Vista. Smiley

The Tablet stuff is supposed to be much improved in that. Given that it's already pretty cool, I can't wait to try it (er, except I am waiting till the Feb CTP comes out)

You lose a day crossing the International Date Line in that direction.  When you fly from Hong Kong to the West Coast, you often arrive in the U.S. a few hours before you departed...

Didn't Superman use that trick once to save Lois?

In the first Superman movie with Christopher Reeve, he reversed the rotation of the Earth... which, of course, causes time to go backwards... this had the nice side effect that all the water rushed back up the river into Lake Mead, and Hoover Dam fixed itself Smiley

Ah, the combination of high suspension-of-disbelief and cheap special effects...

I gave this a lot of thought.... (what can I say, I have lots of free time). In fact, I proposed that Superman did NOT reverse the earth's rotation thereby, reverse time itself.

In fact, what Superman did was to fly faster than the speed of light. We know that c is the theoretical maximum speed of light, anything that goes faster than c, will travel back in time.

So, what he did was to fly really really fast -- so since he wanted to end back in the same place after enough time reversal, he flew in a circle. When we see the earth reverse its rotation, we (the camera) are really going back in time with Superman. From our point of view, water can flow up Hoover dam, and Louis' car can un-fall from the fissure.

So, no high suspension of disbelief needed. Now, anyone wants to know why Peter Parker's reluctant to leave Aunt May is a physical manifestation of his Oedipus complex?

Freud: Ja, ein astute observazion.  Spiderman ist responsible for the death of his father figure.  Only he cannot live with the guilt.

This Spiderman story is full of preconscious psychic archetypes.  This is apparent even from the character's so-called "real name," "Peter Parker."  In English I am told "Peter" is a reference to ze male genitalia, und "Parker" means "one who parks," i.e. to place somewhere.  Ja, in der classic Oedipal fashion, Spiderman has parked his peter where it does not belong...

Ziss name is an unconscious pun based on free-association, similar to those I described in Der Witz und Seine Beziehung zum Unbewussten ("Jokes and the Relationship to the Unconscious.")

No, you're thinking of "Richard".

The USA has expanded the list from "Richard" to include "Peter" and few others.

Speaking of jokes, I heard this one recently:

What's the difference between Neil Armstrong and Michael Jackson?

Well, as for similarities, they're both moonwalkers.

As for the "difference" Google shows some quite rude results Smiley
