Takes practice. My first crop was in PS3 way back when. These days I prefer to blow it up and magnetic magic wand the image but yeah.

in any photoshop there is a "Lasso" tool button somewhere

i manually draw / cut using that
the wand has a tendency to get jaggy - although if the lines are defined enough its a great time saver

i did - a wacom - gave it away to a painter i know

i just couldnt get use to my hand in one place and looking at the monitor - instead of my hand

i would have loved a tablet pc - but i have never seen one in real life..

and it was so expensive - i just got a regular bottom of line dell laptop instead

( monitor resolution blurry - dell does stupidness with the standard keyboard layout - changing it - i hangs on suspend - gotta hold powerdown.. etc etc

I remember along time ago - dell was the only big oem - that actually did stuff like youd build yourself. the cases and boards wernt full of nutty proprietary stuff - like the hp / compaq / ibms of that era)

too bad - i wont reco dell to anyone anymore for laptops
