What's the difference between the three (or more?) versions of Microsoft's Map software.

I know MapPoint is like the hardcore office version with things like graphs for data etc.

What about Streets and Trips? And Autroroute?
Juliankay,

As I understand it  Mappoint is the business version of Streets and Trips. Mappoint has a number of features likley intended for business use. Autoroute is the European content version.

Thanks,
Kevin

Where's Waldo?
There are several products with the name "MapPoint".

MapPoint 2004 North American Maps
MapPoint 2004 European Maps
These cost around $200-$300.

There is also a MapPoint Web Server (formerly MapPoint .NET). This one starts at around $8k but you can get a free 1-year trial account through MSDN.

Finally, there is a relatively new product called MapPoint Location Server, this retrieve real-time lat/lon from a mobile carrier's network (i.e. a mobile phone). See the link above for a special issue from MP2K Magazine, the MapPoint technology portal.
