A rather trollish and self propagandizing article... aside from what it claims... where are you getting this number of 3 years? Why not 2? Why not 4? It does not give any timeline like that.

No answer your question though... no, it won't. Not in 3, not in 10, probably not even in 30.

If there is a downfall of the US it will not be due to devaluation of currency but the realization of voters that they can use their vote to forcibly seize property from their neighbors... you know, the sort of thing that socialist systems have used for years.

When did this happen?
The US dollar governs most of their decisions.

Iraq started selling oil for euros. 6 months later Bush Jr. invaded.

Now the US is breathing down Irans neck about nuclear crap.
Guess what Iran started doing March 2006. . .selling barrels of oil for Euros, and not US dollars.
We're not going bankrupt, heck, if we did it'd collapse the world economy, we owe so much money to other institutions and countries that they'd all go under as well.
US GDP Growth Rate: 3.5%
UK GDP Growth Rate: 1.8%

Who should be worried again?

Also, the USD is currently backed by a well maintained nuclear arsenal.

Eh, sometimes I wish I could just move to Norway.
Sometimes I just wish a nuclear war would start already.  Cmon now, we have been waiting years for a nuclear war, lets start it.

I think 3 or 4 nukes on Jerusalem would solve most of the worlds problems. Just give everyone there 48 hours to leave then level it

It is a rather nice country, and it also has a strong economy.

Forget Norway. Where can you find lions? Only in Kenya. Come to Kenya, we've got lions.
It does show that no one country should have so much of the worlds wealth. If it has problems, then the whole world will as well. It should be spread evenly throughout the world (or at the very least, USA, Europe and Eastern Asia (Japan, South Korea etc)).

Oil won't last forever and we shouldn't depend on it so much. Perhaps after the 'petrodollar' there will be the 'ecodollar'?
